Chris’s Snowy Slow Cooker Chili

In the Northeast we all probably think we took some crazy pills, with a blizzard warning issued in the middle of March. As the snow is falling tomorrow, there is a silver lining to this craziness if you were lucky enough to get off of work, more time to cook!

This cold weather begs for some good chili to warm you up. Quick, run to the supermarket and grab these ingredients while you pick up your Bread & Milk!

What do you like to cook on a snowy day? Let’s hear your suggestions in the comments below.

  1. I like to make a hot chocolate- heat up some whole milk, coconut milk, almond milk etc. Stir in 1 tablespoons of cocoa powder per cup and sweeten to taste with your sweetener of choice. Start out with less than you think you need and taste a few sips before adding more. I like it unsweetened. A little cinnamon is nice in there too.
