2 Tbsp oil
1 Tbsp butter
3 – 4 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbsp flour or alternative if you want it Gluten free
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup beef broth
salt & cracked black pepper to taste
1/2 cup fresh grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
2 oz cream cheese
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter in oil. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add the flour and cook and stir until flour is absorbed, about a minute.
- Pour in the broth and heavy cream and bring to a slow boil and whisk until thickened. Whisk in the cream cheese and Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
- Serve over steak.
