Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce for Steak

Next time you make steak for that special occasion whip up this simple sauce to pour on top. It’s delicious!


2 Tbsp oil

1 Tbsp butter

3 – 4 clove garlic, minced

1 Tbsp flour or alternative if you want it Gluten free

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup beef broth

salt & cracked black pepper to taste

1/2 cup fresh grated Parmigiano-Reggiano

2 oz cream cheese


  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter in oil. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add the flour and cook and stir until flour is absorbed, about a minute.
  2. Pour in the broth and heavy cream and bring to a slow boil and whisk until thickened. Whisk in the cream cheese and Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
  3. Serve over steak.
